The Betty Carhart Memorial Race takes place on Saturday and Sunday (November 29th and 30th, 2014) and is held at Mt. Misery Race Site in Pemberton, NJ.

It's an exciting event with a total of 12 classes of competition, including 1 Scooter, 2 Bikejor Pro, 2 Bikejor Sport, 4 Dog Pro, 4 Dog Purebred, 4 Dog Sport, 6 Dog Pro, 6 Dog Purebred, 6 Dog Sport, 8 Dog, M Canicross, and W Canicross.

Pine Barrens Dryland Run

While the Dalakians of Gerick Siberians are better known in the breed conformation ring, it was through Dick's hard work many years ago, drafting and lobbying for NJ Bill A1509 which legalized sled dog racing and other dog related activities that had been outlawed in NJ. Dick helped make it possible for all of us to enjoy this sport in NJ, and our dogs can enjoy what they were bred to do.
